The Georgiana Panthers basketball squad scored 75 points and held the host Monroe County Tigers to 50 in the Panthers non-league victory on Thursday.
With the victory, Georgiana advances its record to 5-0 on the year. The Panthers travel to Hillcrest (Evergreen, AL) to face the Jaguars in a non-league match on Friday, December 13. The Jaguars enter the match with a record of 7-3. Hillcrest won 73-46 in their recent league match against Excel (Excel, AL)
The Tigers now own a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host W.S. Neal for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 17. Monroe County will face a Eagles squad coming off a 76-39 non-league win over Northview (Bratt, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 6-2.
