Texas High School Basketball - Woodson nips Hermleigh

In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Woodson Cowboys basketball team scored a close 36-35 triumph over the Hermleigh Cardinals.

The Cowboys (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Ralls (Ralls, TX). The Jackrabbits go into the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Ralls nipped Wilson (Wilson, TX), 47-32, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Rising Star Wildcats (Rising Star, TX) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Hermleigh will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 3-3 record after their 66-38 non-league loss to Iredell (Iredell, TX).
