Idaho High School Basketball - Mackay fells Leadore

December 12, 2024: Leadore, ID 83464

The Mackay Miners basketball team scored 50 points and limited the host Leadore Mustangs to 40 in the Miners non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Miners now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Challis for a non-league game on Friday, December 13. Mackay will confront a Vikings team coming off a 60-31 non-league win over Alturas Prep (Idaho Falls, ID). The Vikings record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Leadore falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs host North Gem (Bancroft, ID) to confront the Cowboys in a 1A Rocky Mountain game on Friday, December 13. The Cowboys go into the game with a record of 2-1. North Gem won 64-61 in their recent non-league game against Taylor's Crossing (Idaho Falls, ID)
