Wenonah Dragons (Birmingham, AL) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Northside Rams (Northport, AL), 59-41 in a league match.

With the victory, Wenonah upgrades its record to 7-6 on the year. The Dragons host Sipsey Valley (Buhl, AL) to face the Bears in a 5A Area 9 match on Tuesday, December 17. The Bears enter the match with a record of 5-5.

The Rams now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lamar County for a non-league match on Friday, December 13. Northside will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 56-52 non-league win over Berry (Berry, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-11.
