In Thursday's league contest, the host Weaver Bearcats basketball team scored a big 67-35 triumph over the Randolph County Tigers.
The Bearcats (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Ashville (Ashville, AL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Ashville was trounced by Hokes Bluff (Hokes Bluff, AL), 59-51, in a league contest.
