Illinois High School Basketball - South Elgin holds off Streamwood

December 12, 2024: Streamwood, IL 60107

The South Elgin Storm basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host Streamwood Sabres to 57 in the Storm league triumph on Thursday.

The Storm now have a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Fremd for a non-league game on Saturday, December 14. South Elgin will confront a Vikings team coming off a 78-54 non-league win over Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 5-1.

With the loss, Streamwood falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Sabres host West Aurora (Aurora, IL) to confront the Blackhawks in a Upstate Eight game on Tuesday, December 17. The Blackhawks go into the game with a record of 2-4.
