In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Spring Lake Park Panthers basketball team scored a close 78-71 triumph over the Totino-Grace Eagles.
The Panthers (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Blaine (Blaine, MN). The Bengals go into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Blaine nipped Andover (Andover, MN), 86-82, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles confront the Breck Mustangs (Minneapolis, MN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 14. Totino-Grace will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Mustangs go into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 74-51 non-league loss to Benilde-St. Margaret's (St. Louis Park, MN).
