Maryland High School Basketball - Allegany fells Mountain Ridge

The Allegany Campers basketball team scored 63 points and limited the host Mountain Ridge Miners to 49 in the Campers league triumph on Thursday.

The Campers now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop Walsh for a non-league game on Monday, December 16. Allegany will confront a Spartans team coming off a 40-37 non-league loss to Turkeyfoot Valley Area (Confluence, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Mountain Ridge falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Miners host Hampshire (Romney, WV) to confront the Trojans in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 1-1. Hampshire won 61-13 in their recent non-league game against Hedgesville (Hedgesville, WV)
