The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Centralia Orphans (Centralia, IL) and the visiting Cahokia Comanches (Cahokia, IL), observed Centralia's basketball team overwhelm Cahokia by a score of 53-13.

The Orphans (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Carlyle (Carlyle, IL). The Indians/Lady Indians come into the non-league challenge with a 7-0 record. In their last challenge, Carlyle trounced Sparta (Sparta, IL), 84-27, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Comanches battle the Belleville West Maroons (Belleville, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 16. Cahokia will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Maroons come into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 44-13 non-league loss to Red Bud (Red Bud, IL).
