The Corning Cardinals basketball team scored 26 points and limited the host Central Valley Falcons to 22 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cardinals now possess a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Lassen for a non-league game on Friday, December 13. Corning will confront a Grizzlies team coming off a 58-49 non-league loss to Orland (Orland, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Central Valley falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Lincoln (Lincoln, CA) to confront the Fighting Zebras in a non-league game on Saturday, December 14.
