South Carolina High School Basketball - Piedmont triumphant over Central

December 12, 2024: Pageland, SC 29728

The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC) and the host Central Eagles (Pageland, SC), observed Piedmont's basketball team overwhelm Central by a margin of 46-10.

The Panthers (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Union Academy (Monroe, NC). The Cardinals come into the non-league challenge with a 6-0 record. In their last challenge, Union Academy trounced Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC), 61-33, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the North Central Knights (Kershaw, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. Central will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record.
