Nevada High School Basketball - Cheyenne overwhelmed by Valley

In Thursday's league test, the Valley Vikings (Las Vegas, NV) basketball squad trounced the host Cheyenne Desert Shields (North Las Vegas, NV), by a score of 48-27.

Next, the Vikings encounter the Southeast Career Tech Roadrunners (Las Vegas, NV) in a 4A Sky test, on Wednesday, January 8. Valley will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record.

The Desert Shields (1-5) will now prepare for their test against George Washington Prep (Los Angeles, CA). The Generals come into the non-league test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, George Washington Prep bounced Gardena (Gardena, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
