The Middletown Knights basketball squad (Middletown, MD), was nudged 54-52 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Frederick Cadets (Frederick, MD)
With the victory, Frederick advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Cadets host Westlake (Waldorf, MD) to meet the Wolverines in a non-league battle on Saturday, December 14. The Wolverines enter the battle with a record of 3-0. Westlake won 62-37 in their recent league battle against Lackey (Indian Head, MD)
The Knights now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Walkersville for a Central Maryland battle on Tuesday, December 17. Middletown will meet a Lions squad coming off a 49-11 league win over Boonsboro (Boonsboro, MD). The Lions record now stands at 3-0.
