In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Hanover-Horton Comets basketball team scored a big 67-8 triumph over the Vandercook Lake Jayhawks.
The Comets (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Napoleon (Napoleon, MI). The Pirates go into the Cascades contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Napoleon was trounced by Grass Lake (Grass Lake, MI), 59-7, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Jayhawks battle the Michigan Center Cardinals (Michigan Center, MI) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Vandercook Lake will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Cardinals go into the contest with a 4-0 record after their 65-3 league win over Manchester (Manchester, MI).
