Illinois High School Basketball - Herscher nips Reed-Custer

In Thursday's league contest, the host Herscher Tigers basketball team scored a close 34-28 triumph over the Reed-Custer Comets.

The Tigers (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Gardner-South Wilmington (Gardner, IL). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Gardner-South Wilmington was tipped by Momence (Momence, IL), 41-17, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Comets battle the Somonauk/Leland Bobcats (Somonauk, IL) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 19. Reed-Custer will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record.
