In Thursday's league contest, the host Huron Chiefs basketball team scored a good 64-53 triumph over the Jefferson Bears.

The Chiefs (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Flat Rock (Flat Rock, MI). The Rams go into the Huron contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Flat Rock was topped by St. Mary Catholic Central (Monroe, MI), 38-30, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bears battle the Richard Pioneers (Riverview, MI) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 14. Jefferson will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Pioneers go into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 38-35 non-league win over Franklin (Livonia, MI).
