In Thursday's league test, the Manchester Valley Mavericks (Manchester, MD) basketball squad trounced the visiting Winters Mill Falcons (Westminster, MD), by a score of 47-20.
Next, the Mavericks encounter the Liberty Lions (Sykesville, MD) in a Carroll County test, on Tuesday, December 17. Manchester Valley will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record.
The Falcons (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Northern (Owings, MD). The Patriots come into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Northern was routed by Huntingtown (Huntingtown, MD), 40-29, in a non-league test.
