The Marquette Crusaders basketball team scored 57 points and limited the host Midland Timberwolves to 49 in the Crusaders league triumph on Thursday.

The Crusaders now have a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Yorkville Christian for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. Marquette will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 52-41 non-league win over Rosary (Aurora, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-2.

With the loss, Midland falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Timberwolves host Roanoke-Benson (Roanoke, IL) to confront the Rockets in a Tri-County game on Monday, December 16. The Rockets go into the game with a record of 9-1. Roanoke-Benson lost 40-32 in their recent league game against Seneca (Seneca, IL)
