In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Seneca Fighting Irish basketball team scored a good 40-32 triumph over the Roanoke-Benson Rockets.
The Fighting Irish (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against St. Bede (Peru, IL). The Bruins go into the Tri-County contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, St. Bede topped Henry-Senachwine (Henry, IL), 45-42, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Rockets battle the Midland Timberwolves (Varna, IL) in a Tri-County contest, on Monday, December 16. Roanoke-Benson will attempt to better on its 9-1 season record.
