In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Charlottesville Black Knights basketball team scored a good 33-22 triumph over the Western Albemarle Warriors.
The Black Knights (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Louisa County (Mineral, VA). The Lions go into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Louisa County was topped by Orange County (Orange, VA), 42-35, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Western Albemarle will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 34-14 non-league loss to Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA).
