The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Sumner Spartans (Sumner, WA) and the visiting Curtis Vikings (University Place, WA), observed Sumner's basketball team overwhelm Curtis by a margin of 56-18.

The Spartans (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Garfield (Seattle, WA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Garfield trounced West Seattle (Seattle, WA), 60-12, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Vikings battle the Puyallup Vikings (Puyallup, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. Curtis will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 48-25 non-league loss to Rogers (Puyallup, WA).
