In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Stuarts Draft Cougars basketball team scored a good 36-23 triumph over the Rockbridge County Wildcats.
The Cougars (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Stonewall Jackson (Quicksburg, VA). The Generals go into the non-league contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Stonewall Jackson was topped by Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA), 57-1, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Rockbridge County will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Gobblers go into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 32-25 non-league win over Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA).
