Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Arroyo Knights (El Monte, CA) and the host El Monte Lions (El Monte, CA), saw Arroyo's soccer squad knock off El Monte by a count of 2-0.

The Knights (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Mountain View (El Monte, CA). The Vikings enter the Mission Valley battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Mountain View by South East (South Gate, CA), 4-1, in a non-league battle.
