The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Cesar E. Chavez Lobos (Houston, TX) and the host Austin Mustangs (Houston, TX), witnessed Cesar E. Chavez's basketball squad run past Austin by a count of 54-45.

With the victory, Cesar E. Chavez advances its record to 3-4 on the year. The Lobos travel to Houston Math Science & Tech (Houston, TX) to meet the Tigers in a non-league battle on Saturday, December 13. The Tigers go into the contest with a record of 8-1. Houston Math Science & Tech won 52-41 in their recent non-league contest against Northbrook (Houston, TX)
