The Lions (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Houston (Houston, MS). The Hilltoppers come into the non-league challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Houston defeated West Point (West Point, MS), 57-50, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Jumpertown Cardinals (Booneville, MS) in a 1A Region 1 challenge, on Tuesday, December 16. Pine Grove will attempt to better on its 5-8 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 2-10 record after their 65-54 league loss to Falkner (Falkner, MS).
