The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Cascade Ramblers (Cascade, ID) and the host Council Lumberjacks (Council, ID), observed Cascade's basketball team overcome Council by a margin of 56-36.

The Ramblers (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Shoshone (Shoshone, ID). The Indians come into the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Shoshone dropped by Hansen (Hansen, ID), 57-51, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Lumberjacks battle the Tri-Valley Titans (Cambridge, ID) in a 1A Long Pin challenge, on Tuesday, December 16. Council will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 53-49 non-league loss to Jordan Valley (Jordan Valley, OR).
