The Pirates (8-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Rural Special (Fox, AR). The Rebels come into the 1A Region 2 challenge with a 11-3 record. In their last challenge, Rural Special trounced Timbo (Timbo, AR), 61-58, in a league challenge.

Next up, the Blue Devils meet the West Side Eagles (Greers Ferry, AR) in a 1A Region 2 match, on Tuesday, December 16. Shirley will attempt to advance on its 2-12 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 2-11 record after their 71-62 league loss to Calico Rock (Calico Rock, AR).
