In Friday's league contest, the host Copiah Academy Colonels basketball team scored a big 70-38 triumph over the Silliman Institute Wildcats.
Next, the Colonels face the Cathedral Green Wave (Natchez, MS) in a MAIS 5A District 4 outing, on Friday, December 19. Copiah Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 9-2 season record. The Green Wave enter the outing with a 2-2 record after their 71-26 non-league loss to Jackson Prep (Jackson, MS).
The Wildcats (1-3) will now prepare for their outing against Oak Forest Academy (Amite, LA). The Yellowjackets enter the MAIS 5A District 3 outing with a 4-3 record.
