In Friday's non-league contest, the host McFarland Cougars basketball team scored a good 81-65 triumph over the Hanford West Huskies.

The Cougars (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Wasco (Wasco, CA). The Tigers enter the South Sequoia match with a 2-8 record. In their last match, Wasco was dropped by Sierra Pacific (Hanford, CA), 98-21, in a non-league match.

The Huskies now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Corcoran for a non-league match on Saturday, December 13. Hanford West will face a Panthers squad coming off a 66-60 non-league loss to Hanford West (Hanford, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-8.
