The Marked Tree Indians basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host Hillcrest Screamin Eagles to 47 in the Indians league triumph on Friday.

The Indians now have a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Crowley's Ridge Academy for a 1A Region 3 game on Monday, December 15. Marked Tree will confront a Falcons team coming off a 67-41 league win over Maynard (Maynard, AR). The Falcons record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Hillcrest falls to 12-6 on the campaign. The Screamin eagles host Earle (Earle, AR) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 1A Region 3 outing on Tuesday, December 16. The Bulldogs enter the outing with a record of 3-1. Earle won 76-53 in their recent league outing against Ridgefield Christian (Jonesboro, AR)
