Texas High School Basketball - McAllen triumphant over Weslaco East

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the McAllen Bulldogs (McAllen, TX) and the visiting Weslaco East Wildcats (Weslaco, TX), observed McAllen's basketball team overwhelm Weslaco East by a score of 59-35.

The Bulldogs (18-0) will now prepare for their battle against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North (Pharr, TX). The Raiders enter the non-league battle with a 13-5 record. In their last battle, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North walloped Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, TX), 82-37, in a non-league battle.

The Wildcats now own a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rowe for a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 13. Weslaco East will battle a Warriors team coming off a 65-50 non-league win over Edcouch-Elsa (Edcouch, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 10-8.
