The Broken Bow Savages basketball team scored 67 points and limited the host Poteau Pirates to 29 in the Savages non-league victory on Friday.
Next, the Savages clash with the Wewoka Tigers (Wewoka, OK) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, December 16. Broken Bow will attempt to upgrade on its 3-0 season record. The Tigers enter the outing with a 1-3 record after their 70-51 non-league loss to Hilldale (Muskogee, OK).
The Pirates (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Roland (Roland, OK). The Rangers go into the NOAA game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Roland triumphed over Checotah (Checotah, OK), 46-34, in a league game.
