The Gretna East Griffins (Gretna, NE) basketball were winner over the visiting Gretna Dragons (Gretna, NE), 56-43 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Griffins now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Omaha Westside for a non-league test on Saturday, December 13. Gretna East will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 42-36 non-league win over Lincoln East (Lincoln, NE). The Warriors record now stands at 2-1.

The Dragons (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Papillion-LaVista (Papillion, NE). The Monarchs come into the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Papillion-LaVista beat Bellevue West (Bellevue, NE), 51-40, in a non-league test.
