California High School Basketball - Trinity thwarts Hoopa Valley

December 12, 2025: Weaverville, CA 96093

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Trinity Wolves (Weaverville, CA) and the visiting Hoopa Valley Warriors (Hoopa, CA), observed Trinity's basketball team knock off Hoopa Valley by a score of 53-41.

The Wolves (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Ferndale (Ferndale, CA). The Wildcats enter the non-league match with a 4-1 record. In their last match, Ferndale thwarted Modoc (Alturas, CA), 43-41, in a non-league match.

The Warriors now own a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Modoc for a non-league match on Saturday, December 13. Hoopa Valley will face a Braves squad coming off a 56-26 non-league win over Hayfork (Hayfork, CA). The Braves record now stands at 5-2.
