The Monroe Academy Volunteers basketball team scored 46 points and limited the host Snook Christian Academy Eagles to 15 in the Volunteers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Volunteers now have a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Jackson Academy for a non-league game on Saturday, December 13. Monroe Academy will face a Eagles squad coming off a 34-23 non-league win over Patrician Academy (Butler, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 4-2.

The Eagles (4-4) will now prepare for their outing against Sparta Academy (Evergreen, AL). The Warriors enter the non-league outing with a 0-6 record. In their last outing, Sparta Academy was overwhelmed by Clarke Prep (Grove Hill, AL), 56-31, in a non-league outing.
