In Friday's league test, the The College Prep & Leadership Academy Royals (Jamestown, NC) basketball squad got by the visiting South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC), by a tally of 57-53.
The Royals now possess a 6-0 record. They play next when they host Piedmont Classical for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 16. The College Prep & Leadership Academy will play a Bobcats team coming off a 59-12 non-league loss to High Point Christian Academy (High Point, NC). The Bobcats record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, South Stokes falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Sauras host Surry Central (Dobson, NC) to play the Golden Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, December 19. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a record of 7-0.
