In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Grand Ledge Comets basketball team scored a big 55-24 triumph over the Holt Rams.
The Comets (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against East Lansing (East Lansing, MI). The Trojans go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, East Lansing smashed Everett (Lansing, MI), 66-45, in a non-league contest.
