The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Dimond Lynx (Anchorage, AK) and the host Chugiak Mustangs (Chugiak, AK), witnessed Dimond's ice hockey team defeat Chugiak by a final score of 3-1.

The Lynx (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Service (Anchorage, AK). The Cougars enter the Cook Inlet battle with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, Service nipped Kodiak (Kodiak, AK), 4-3, in a non-league battle.

The Mustangs now possess a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Bartlett for a Cook Inlet battle on Thursday, December 18. Chugiak will confront a Golden Bears team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Delta (Delta Junction, AK). The Golden Bears record now stands at 1-9.
