Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Clay Eagles (Oregon, OH) and the visiting Lake Flyers (Millbury, OH), witnessed Clay's ice hockey team defeat Lake by a final score of 10-0.

The Eagles (12-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Steele (Amherst, OH). The Comets come into the non-league challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Steele was routed by Mentor (Mentor, OH), 5-3, in a non-league battle.

The Flyers now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Southview for a battle on Friday, January 2.
