The Monarch Coyotes (Louisville, CO) ice hockey trounced the visiting Heritage Eagles (Littleton, CO), 10-2 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Coyotes now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Regis Jesuit for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 13. Monarch will encounter a Raiders team coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Poudre School District (Fort Collins, CO). The Raiders record now stands at 0-1.
The Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Dakota Ridge (Littleton, CO). The Eagles come into the 5A League 3 challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Dakota Ridge was routed by Denver East (Denver, CO), 8-0, in a non-league challenge.
