Summerfield Bulldogs (Petersburg, MI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Whiteford Bobcats (Ottawa Lake, MI), 56-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Summerfield upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Bulldogs host Erie-Mason (Erie, MI) to play the Eagles in a Tri-County bout on Friday, December 17. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Erie-Mason lost 48-32 in their recent non-league bout against St. Mary Catholic Central (Monroe, MI)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Madison Trojans (Adrian, MI) in a Tri-County bout, on Friday, December 17. Whiteford will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 40-33 league loss to Britton Deerfield (Britton, MI).
