The Dierks Outlaws basketball team (Dierks, AR), was overwhelmed 67-41 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Acorn Tigers (Mena, AR)
The Tigers now possess a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Spring Hill for a 2A Region 7 battle on Thursday, December 15. Acorn will confront a Bears team coming off a 69-41 non-league loss to Lafayette County (Stamps, AR). The Bears record now stands at 4-1.
The Outlaws (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Caddo Hills (Norman, AR). The Indians come into the 2A Region 7 battle with a 3-7 record. In their last battle, Caddo Hills trounced Horatio (Horatio, AR), 64-42, in a league battle.
