Appalachian Eagles (Oneonta, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Victory Christian Lions (Pell City, AL), 68-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Appalachian upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Eagles host Locust Fork (Locust Fork, AL) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 3-3.

Next up, the Lions clash with the Talladega County Central Fighting Tigers (Talladega, AL) in a 1A Area 10 bout, on Friday, December 16. Victory Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record.
