The Arete Prep CHARGERS tipped the visiting Leading Edge Academy - GEC Spartans basketball team by a final score of 49-47 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the CHARGERS face the Red Rock Scorpions (Sedona, AZ) in a non-league game, on Thursday, December 15. Arete Prep will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record. The Scorpions enter the game with a 4-5 record after their 45-13 non-league win over Chino Valley (Chino Valley, AZ).

With the defeat, Leading Edge Academy - GEC moves to 11-3 on the year. The Spartans travel to Miami (Miami, AZ) to face the Vandals in a 2A Valley game on Friday, December 16.
