Rhode Island High School Basketball - Central nudges Barrington

Central Knights (Providence, RI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Barrington Eagles (Barrington, RI), 55-54 in a league bout.

With the win, Central upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Knights host Woonsocket (Woonsocket, RI) to clash with the Villa Novans in a State Championship bout on Wednesday, December 21. The Villa Novans go into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Mt. Pleasant Kilties (Providence, RI) in a State Championship bout, on Thursday, December 15. Barrington will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
