In Tuesday's league outing, the Mount View Mustangs (Thorndike, ME) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Belfast Lions (Belfast, ME), by a count of 70-30.

The Mustangs (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Medomak Valley (Waldoboro, ME). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Medomak Valley smashed Leavitt (Turner, ME), 65-27, in a league outing.

The Lions now hold a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Winslow for a B North outing on Friday, December 16. Belfast will clash with a Black Raiders squad coming off a 80-44 league win over Maine Central Institute (Pittsfield, ME). The Black Raiders record now stands at 2-0.
