The Belle Plaine Dragons basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Douglass Bulldogs to 43 in the Dragons non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Dragons now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marion for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16. Belle Plaine will battle a Warriors team coming off a 72-42 non-league loss to Canton-Galva (Canton, KS). The Warriors record now stands at 1-3.

The Bulldogs (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Ell-Saline (Brookville, KS). The Cardinals come into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Ell-Saline was defeated by Ellinwood (Ellinwood, KS), 65-51, in a non-league contest.
