Bowie Bulldogs (Bowie, MD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Suitland Rams (Forestville, MD), 69-51 in a league bout.

With the win, Bowie upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Bulldogs host Anacostia (Washington, DC) to clash with the Indians in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 15. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 6-1. Anacostia won 63-59 in their recent league bout against Banneker (Washington, DC)

Next up, the Rams clash with the Bladensburg Mustangs (Bladensburg, MD) in a Prince George's County 4A bout, on Friday, December 16. Suitland will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 70-53 non-league win over Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North (Laurel, MD).
