Breckenridge Huskies (Breckenridge, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host St. Charles Bulldogs (St. Charles, MI), 50-49 in a league bout.

With the victory, Breckenridge upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Huskies host Ashley (Ashley, MI) to play the Bears in a Mid-State bout on Thursday, December 15. The Bears come into the bout with a record of 0-2. Ashley lost 58-17 in their recent league bout against Vestaburg (Vestaburg, MI)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Montabella Mustangs (Blanchard, MI) in a Mid-State bout, on Thursday, December 15. St. Charles will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
