The Cohen Green Hornets basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Fisher Gators to 26 in the Green Hornets non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Green Hornets now sport a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Abramson for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16. Cohen will battle a Commodores team coming off a 59-54 non-league loss to Jefferson RISE Charter (Harvey, LA). The Commodores record now stands at 2-5.
The Gators (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy (Kenner, LA). The Swamp Owls come into the non-league contest with a 0-11 record. In their last contest, Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy was routed by Ascension Christian (Gonzales, LA), 59-51, in a non-league contest.
